JK Financial has been helping and servicing individual retirees throughout the Midwest since 1989.
The founder, Jeff Kaufman, comes from a small farming community in Iowa and has transposed the hard work ethics, strong family values, goal-driven passion, and sincere honesty into the JK Financial planning process.
For the past 30 years, JK Financial has partnered with Senior Benefit Services(SBS) and Senior Marketing Specialists(SMS), two prominent insurance organizations.
We believe we have a deep bench of wisdom, successful entrepreneurs and mentors surrounding our business model. Every decision we make involves putting our clients first and foremost combining our principles and investment planning philosophy.
Jeff Kaufman

Jeff was born and raised in Ainsworth, Iowa. He graduated from Northeast Missouri State University (Truman State University) in 1989 with a degree in Finance. Upon graduation, Jeff began his career at Senior Benefit Services selling life and health insurance. In 1999, Jeff obtained his securities license and founded JK Financial. As the Senior Wealth Advisor at JK Financial, Jeff works closely with his clients to help protect, grow and transfer multigenerational wealth. Along with his personal practice, Jeff enjoys helping his colleagues expand their product portfolio with Life Insurance, Long Term Care and Annuities. His passions are building teams and relationships.
When Jeff is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kim, and their two children, Cooper and Ellie. Cooper graduated from the University of Missouri with his Certified Financial Planning degree and works with JK Financial as a Certified Financial Planning Applicant. Ellie will be attending the University of Missouri in the fall and pursuing a major in Interior Design. As a family they enjoy spending time at the lake, attending Mizzou sporting events, hunting, and fishing.
